Talking HTC Diamond Celio Redfly Update

All,

I emailed Celio Tech Support to find ouy when an updated driver would come out for the HTC Diamond and below was the response:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
David: Thank you for your email. We expect to have a new beta driver release by Friday of next week. We have been working on supporting DirectDraw and SPB applications.
Thank you for your patience.

Have a great Thursday!
Troy
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Their response time was great too!

Re: HTC Diamond Celio Redfly Update

Troy, the support person, must send out a lot of emails! I had contacted support about issues with connecting to the Diamond, and he's sent out email updates/notes to me every other day, including the latest note about updated drivers.

I use GrooveRom without TF3D, and have SPB Mobile Shell (with SPB Diary) on the Diamond. Celio Support think the SPB programs are causing USB connection problems. Once I finally had a USB connection, I was able to set up Bluetooth, and the Redfly works very well over Bluetooth.

We use Citrix at work, and connecting to Citrix through the Redfly is great - much, much better than looking at the phone screen!

Re: HTC Diamond Celio Redfly Update

Yeah,

There is also an issue using GoogleMaps via usb connection that I have found. Seems to work fine using BT connection though. I think it may be a conflict issue. I am excited to see how Fennec will work with Redfly....
