A riddle: office '03 and the Diamond

I'm trying to not save excel spreadsheets on my Diamond as office 2007 format as I only have '03 on my lappy. So, I had a friend convert my excel spreadsheet to '03 format, put it back on my Diamond tried exiting and it will not let me save it as a .xls. I've already downloaded the patch they have that should convert 07 to 03 but of course it doesn't work and when it does it's not effectively. Have at it. I can't stand office 07 and refuse to upgrade to it let alone pay for it right now so don't take the easy way out and say to upgrade because that's simply not an option.

Here at work, we have Excel 2000 (9.0.2720) i send a copy of my work to my Touch Pro daily and haven't had any issues opening or saving the document again. I'm sorry i don't have more input on the 03' ot 07' versions

well, there's a website that converts 07 format to 03 format, not sure i member where it is tho, i found it thru google.

I was in the same situation as you intangible since my lab switched to Office 2007, I just downloaded this:

It makes your Office 2003 able to open Office 2007 files so it should be useful for your lappy. I noticed the Office Mobile used Office 2007 formats with the Mogul, so this should help you out.
