Issue with Bluetooth not working with car

So I'm sort of new to this forum and I did some searches but didn't find anything on this. My CTS has bluetooth and worked flawlessly with my sprint Diamond for about a month. Then all of a sudden it stopped working properly. If I made a phone with the car's bluetooth it wouldn't connect to the phone, or if I made it from the phone it wouldn't activate the cars bluetooth, all of which used to work fine. I ended up doing a hard reboot and it worked fine. Now a week later it's acting up again. Instead what it's doing is if I make a call from the car the phone calls but immidiately disconnects from the car. Keep in mind the call goes through. This thing is starting to piss me off. It's definitely the phone since every other phone seems to work fine. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hard to say, but Microsoft's BT stack has been known to be buggy. I've gone from WM5>WM6>WM6.1 and I still have issues connecting to the built in BT in my Prius

Is there an alternative to the MS BT?

Not sure. A custom ROM might do the trick, but that's better left to the experienced chefs around here. One of them might be able to help
