Re: Battery Killer

I hear if your turn the phone off it will last 2 days on a battery charge!

Seriously, this phone has horrible battery life and unfortunately the only solution I found was to run Mighty's custom ROM's. I can usually get through a 10 hour work day with mild use of the phone with out it dieing on me. Flashing a custom ROM is not something I wanted to do but I am stuck with the phone and had to do something to make it work.
I have to laugh at all the suggestions on how to get more life out of the battery, turn this off, don't use that, disable this. Why did we pay all this money for a phone that you cannot utilize the features on?

Even with custom ROM, following all the suggestions here and minimal use of the phone there is NO WAY I can get more then a day out of my battery.

HTC/Sprint should be recalling all Diamonds in my opinion as they do not live up to anywhere close to the suggested battery life.

Is there an easy to follow tutorial/guide and which ROM?

Re: Battery Killer

When I first got the mogul it didnt even come close to lasting a half day. With multiple stock rom updates from HTC, I eventually could last 3-4 days on the same charge.

Re: Battery Killer

what's your point? we already know the batt life sucks, they've told you what you can do to help make it better; at this point if your unhappy with your options you should return the phone.

Thanks Drybonz, I happened to find that last night as I browsed the site on my iPod Touch while cozy in the bed!
