Re: Diamond help

search for pimbackup.exe, put it on the q... make a backup of your contact, then get that file onto your new phone, start pimbackup.exe again on the diamond and restore your contacts

here's a link to the program - http://www.dotfred.net/default.htm

Re: Diamond help

I am confused.
You DO have the pim.vol from your Q? or you don't.

If you do, it wouldn't hurt to try. Use resco or another file explorer and disable tf3d. Then you might need to reset to unlock the pim from being used by the system. Delete the pim.vol on your diamond and replace it with the one from your Q. You'll need to do this from the phone and not by plugging in from your pc. So put your pim.vol from the Q in your storage card to copy over to "My Device". Then reset. And then re-enable TF3d and see if it is able to view your contacts.

If it doesn't work. It's not going to work.

Re: Diamond help

Ok. Put your pim.vol onto your Internal Storage.
Disable Touchflo3d in Settings>Today
Open File Explorer and go up until you are at "My Device". You'll know you are there when you see your documents folder, windows etc and you will also see your pim.vol sitting there. Delete it. If it won't let you delete, reset device and then try that again.

Then go to your internal storage with file explorer, copy pim.vol.

Go back to your My Device area where you saw your original pim.vol and PASTE yours there.

Reset.
Go back to settings>Today and re-enable TouchFlo 3d
Now go to your peoples tab and check to see if it loaded your contacts.
