Can i get some assistants please. Im trying to find the "remove programs" exe. So i can set it as a short cut since i install and uninstall so many programs. I looked through the entire Windows directory. Is it called something else? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: remove programs.exe ??

I would just like to know how to uninstall after installing the cab in case they don't work. I have a couple hidden somewhere in my phone, it triple lists under Programs but cannot find the little boogers to delete the double icon.

Re: remove programs.exe ??

Create a shortcut to ctlpnl.exe and then using a text editor edit the .lnk (shortcut) and add in the cplmain.cpl,# beside the \Windows\ctlpnl.exe

Change the # to numbers 1 - 12 and run the shortcut each time until you get the uninstall program.

Once you find it let us know

Ctlpnl.exe want even open even if I dont modify that shortcut. I placed it as a shortcut and tried to open it. At least i figured it would go to the control panel, but nothing happens. So i then tried what you stated assuming i understood correctly...in Example......
"\Windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl, 3" now not only will the .exe not open its now recognized as a .exe anymore.

Re: remove programs.exe ??

Pardon me if I am wrong, but I think it requires 2 numbers 1 specifies tab 1,2 or 3 and the next number specifies the setting within that tab, i'll see if I can find this.

Bluetooth \windows\ctlpnl.exe BTConfigCE.cpl,0
Odyssey Client \windows\ctlpnl.exe MyCpl.cpl,1
Password \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,1

Screen Orientation \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,7
Input \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,8

Start Menu Pgms \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,11
Buttons \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,12
Today \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,13
Blank \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,14
Beam \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,15
Clock & Alarms \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,16
Network Adapters \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,17
Regional Settings \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,18
Connections \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,19
Blank \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,20
Blank \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,21
Manage Certificates \windows\ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,22

EDIT: just tried it as above without the quotes and it works
Also now that this works, anyone know how to associate an Icon to the shortcut in TF3D?
