Cellular South GPS Problem

can't get the internal GPS to work on my Cellular South Touch Diamond. Anyone else on Cellular South able to get it running? QuickGPS can't be updated either.

THanks

NEVERMIND: Thanks for the GPS Configuration Sticky and also post on page 18 by the18thtee. Follow the18ththee's instructions for changing the settings. the SPC code for Cellular South is just all zeros by the way... The correct registry cab to enable GPS for cellular south is the Sprint one. Thanks to those who did all the hard work, I just put the pieces together...

Re: Cellular South GPS Problem

You will need to go to Start>Settings>Phone>Services>Location Setting - Select Get Settings>Select ON>Ok. This will turn the internal GPS on. This is a standard default setting to improve the battery life on the device straight from the box as not everyone will use GPS.

Thumbs down Re: Cellular South GPS Problem

Yeah, I'm with Shaunks, i just recently bought a Diamond at the cellular south store down the street and had the same problem. However, all I did for the fix was to turn on the location setting - no CAB files or registry changes...
