Re: extended battery 1500mAh but same size

Seidio is a good trusted aftermarket battery maker, but $45.00 + Shipping for just a 10% increase I think is a bit much.

Re: extended battery 1500mAh but same size

I wonder if the different battery will solve some of the battery life issues people are having. Worth a try.

Re: extended battery 1500mAh but same size

I doubt it.
That's only 160mAH more than factory.
Maybe a couple hours more standby time but that 160 will go quick doing just about anything on the phone.

Re: extended battery 1500mAh but same size

I actually just got this battery via Amazon.com earlier this week. Like many others I've been having bad battery performance. I was barelly able to get 12 hours with light use with the oem battery.

Well, right now I'm at 40 hours with a single charge with this new battery. That's also only with two complete discharges so far.

I don't think this battery is working miracles or anything. I just think my oem one is defective somehow.

I'll post an update over the next couple of days and let everyone know if this good performance holds up.

Re: extended battery 1500mAh but same size

And you didn't change ANYTHING else? ROM, Radio, usage pattern?

Also, I don't know about Sprint or other Carriers, but Telus charges $80 for a standard battery, so if you're getting a second or a replacement, I'd go for Seidio.

Re: extended battery 1500mAh but same size

I got two of the Seidio's batteries. I have put them through about 10 charge/discharge cycles. Compared to stock, they are physically smaller, and make very little difference in battery life.

BTW, there is at least one other thread talking about this already. Search if you want more.

Same rom and radio I was using with the oem battery. I'd say I haven't been texting as much the past two days, but that's about it. Time will tell I guess. I'm thinking that if I could get an oem battery that worked properly I'd be getting similar performance with my current config.

Re: extended battery 1500mAh but same size

How does the Seidio battery behave with the battery monitor? Some non-OEMS have been reported to work OK, but not show the charge level...
