instant messanger on the diamond not working

I have a diamond and the instant messanger portion is not connecting to the net, im trying to use yahoo messanger and it times out when trying to connect, is there a thread or link to a possible fix. Has anyone had this issue? we have been working on this issue with tech support and have switched the phone out. The login and password are working. tryed it on my pro.

well the problem is ive tryed yahoo's mobile messanger but it wont connect i think this is more of a phone setting or a file issue

yes im on my third diamond replacement and it has not been working right on either. the first diamond i had it seemed to work but that onehad a picture mail defect but not i believe this is a defect on most diamonds because the YIM simply doesnt work. it give the error message "server is temporarily unavailable (code:500)" i dont understand and im very disappointed because i had high hopes for this phone....

I have the same problem on my diamond. I had the same problem on my MotoQ9c too. On the MotoQ9c sprint changed my profile username then updated the profile and it worked. I did this with the Diamond and sprint on the phone but still does not work.

It is truly some type of provisioning problem. I will be calling them back with my case number Friday becuase I missed their call to me wednesday evening re: this issue. I have a high level network Engineer now assigned to this issue.

If anyone thinks they know what's wrong, I'd love to hear your thoughts. It seems with everyone on PPCGEEKs.com and XDA someone should (I would hope) have some type of resolution.

I use the ozwinmobi on mine and love it! It works fine for all 3 email accounts.

I have 6 pro's, 2 Diamonds, a Touch HD, and a chrome plated iced out Sony Xperia X1 that plays Jenna Jameson videos as my ring tone. I gtg I'm getting flash backs from last night of me ballin out.
