Sprint CDMA Cradle and extra Bat Charger

I have seen some references to Diamond charging cradles, but they were either GSM or not available for CDMA. Here is a good price on a built for Sprint Diamond cradle: http://www.igonemobile.com/product.aspx?p=17243

I grabbed one of these form daydeal.com but it was $30. Nice find.

It's a nice little unit I stuck it to my dash board with a couple pieces of double sided tape. Makes it much easier to use my gps while driving.

Just an FYI, the connector is mini usb not extended usb. So you won't be able to stick the audio adapter in the back of the dock and get an audio out. I have a line in on my car stereo so I was hoping that it would work that way. Unfortunately I'm stuck using bluetooth/fm transmit now.

I was thinking of buying a second one, and getting another one of the head phone dongles that comes with the phone taking them apart and trying to integrate them.

hows the slot for the extra battery? the one i have is awkwardly placed so its a pain to get out. also, how are the leds? if an extra battery isnt plugged in the led flashed green and red, which is retarded.

the guy with the cheap oem batteries (threads around here somewhere) was selling these as well, but it turned out they were for the gsm one. good to hear its working out for you briggs.

If you note the photo, the best confirmation that this is for CDMA is the Sprint Diamond in the cradle.

a blue LED turns on when you have the charger plugged in, it can be quite distracting while driving at night when it reflects in the windsheild. I just put a small piece of electrical tape over it and that took care of the problem.

there is another LED on the left side but I've never seen it turn on so I'm not sure what it's for. Maybe it turns on if you have th ephoen on the charger and an extra battery in the slot, but I only have one battery so I dunno.

The igonemobile guy is the cheap battery guy.. look for cradles by nakedcellphone guy... they fit perfectly.

thats the cradle i have, and it does fit great, but the extra battery is kinda tucked in behind the angled phone holder and its a bit hard to get out. nothing major, my bigger complaint is the flashing led when the battery is not in the charger

I have the igonemobile one and I love it. the phone slides in nice and tight and the extra battery fits perfect in the back. i just bought a second one for use at work.
