Help setting default keyboard

Does not matter which keyboard I install (PCM, Resco or SPB) I set as default and restart it reverts back to standard keyboard. I have also tried using SipChange but it also did not work. Any ideas would be appreciated, did search but can't seem to find anything other than someone saying to try sipchange.

Are you running a custom rom?

Hi Drybonz, thanks for the response, I have tried sipchange with 10, 25, 30, and 40secs.

Yesterday it worked, and I had it set to 25, now today it's not working again. Just retried with 40 and it's ok now.

BTW, what does the 40secs refer to, is it the number of secs after reboot or the number of secs after WM loads?? (seems it might be the time after everything loads)

Sorry, no custom ROM - stock Bell Canada ROM
