Streaming Music... Ideas?

My Sprint Diamond stays connected to my work PC all day due to the well-documented poor battery life. When i try to stream last.fm on my phone, i run out of space due to the fact internal storage isn't accessible. Need some ideas of good sites / programs i can use to stream music while connected to my PC.

Use activesync instead of disk drive and your internal storage is accessible.

Does anyone else get the problem of the battery draining faster than it charges when doing streaming while connected to a PC? If connected to just a charger, the phone stays charged, but the PC is not putting out enough juice to keep the Diamond charged when I am streaming Sirius, for example.

I guess I am wondering if it is just the PC I am hooking it up to or the port I am using. However, doing a little checking, I find that I don't get the full 500 mA from my PC's USB port (I get about 430), but the charger I am using gives nearly 700 mA when I first plug it in, but then settles down to ~450 mA after sitting for a bit. I've also noticed, although I've not been able to look at the numbers, that the car charger seems to charge it up faster than anything else.

Pretty simple website for streaming local stations. If your local station streams live over the internet, you will more than likely find it at that website. It downloads the stream and plays it through windows media player.

I consider SelectRadio to be the best streaming software as it already has all the last.fm, shoutcase, xm, sirius, and other streams loaded into it.

Unfortunately the most recent ROMS (more current base) seem to have broken it and it closes after 1 minute of use (others have confirmed this).

My second choice is Pocket Tunes which has all the shoutcast and last.fm stations already loaded but also functions as a regular media player as well.
