Bluetooth Headset Issues

To preface.. I searched the forums and found a few semi-related posts, but they were from before the Sprint launch (or thereabouts) and so I figured I'd try again..

I have a pretty run-of-the-mill Bluetooth headset (PDP Metal Gear Solid 4), and it works great with my work AT&T Moto Razor v3 but when I pair it with my Diamond the reception is horrible. It works okay within 2-3 feet but if I move it around in my car or even switch pockets it gets all static-e and/or loses connection.

I tried the "Audiopara Tweak" and it did not seem to make a difference (didnt think it would, made it LOUDER when it worked).

Any ideas? This is all based off the Stock Sprint ROM. Should I try to get a replacement phone? (I'm past my 30 days).

Thanks a lot!
