/windows/rings or /my documents/my ringtones/ for ring tones.

/windows/ for email, alram, sms alerts.

Re: Setting custom allert tones

Noob question here, are you able to custom tones for EACH email account?

I really need a power user to be my friend for a few weeks while I get to know this thing..I'm switching over from Palm and completely baffled with all the customizations that can be done with WM.

Re: Setting custom allert tones

Out of the box you are not able to setup different alerts for individual email accounts. However I think you can with PocketMax PhoneAlarm, though I am not sure.

They have a trial dowload available for both the Lite and Pro versions. Give it a try and see what you can do.

As for helping you out with your Palm-to-Windows Mobile migration, that is what we are here for!
