only typing #'s

So i've tried all I could think of. uninstalled the last three apps i installed. soft reset a million times. Still my keyboards will only type #'s and symbols. Anyone have any ideas before I hard reet?

Check your software keyboard and make sure you didn't turn on the SHIFT key on accident

yup. first thing i did. Weird thing is that each keyboard pops up in symbol mode. i guess i'll hard reset. must have been a change to the registry that one of the app installs made.

that happened to me when i installed pcm keyboard today.

that also happened to me when I installed an appl in language other than english. when i deleted the appl it came back ok.

the pcm keyboard did the same thing to me, but, I went into inputs and changed it to make the pcm keyboard my default. I downloaded the diamond skin for it, but it wasn't working properly so I removed it. If you download the gyrator program you can use the diamond in landscape mode, going to take a lil getting used to for me, but, it's nice to have the option now.
A thing I did notice though, I installed the pcm keyboard before I installed .net framework, so I don't know if that's the issue or not but your going to need that for gyrator to work, so try removing it and installing the .net framework and then re-installing to see if that alleviates your issue.

I had the same issue this morning, a day after installing PCM keyboard. I uninstalled it and it went back to normal. I also uninstalled gyrator. I gave them a try but they pretty much suck....I'll stick with my compact qwerty
