Disable SMS sent Notification and Other Programs?

What Programs are people using to disable the SMS notification sent?
In know you can do a reg tweak but I just don't feel comfortable doing that at this point. I did use SKtools but I think that disables my picture mail from working.
Anyone else notice picture mail not working after installing a program?

Try this link. Diamond Tweak

This has been working for me. There are a few other posts here that show other options.
