Bluetooth Problems

My bluetooth has got a mind of it's own. It simply shuts off by itself...no pattern...maybe after being on for 5 minutes....maybe an hour....

Any ideas on what would cause the Blurtooth to shut off by itself?

Thanks!

Re: Bluetooth Problems

UPDATE -- if anyone can verify this, it woudl be great....

I had S2U2 1.22 installed....it was working fine....so I thought...then all of a sudden, the slider would not slide (no animations). The phone would unlock if I went through the motion of sliding the slider...but the slider did not actually move. Then once at the home screen, about 30 seconds to 2 minutes later my BT would shut off.

I uninstalled s2u2 and did a soft boot. Since then, I have not had any problem (to this point) of the BT shutting off randomly.

Any ideas of what in s2us could be controlling the BT like that?

Thanks!

Re: Bluetooth Problems

I had the same prob with S2U2 initially. When the program is allowed to suspend power, it appears to turn off everything, bluetooth included. So basically you need to set "Dont Suspend Power" to ON. Since doing this, bluetooth works fine for me!

Re: Bluetooth Problems

I have the same BT issue. I used the Diamond for five days (w/ BT everyday) and didn't have a problem with Suspend Power enabled. I then did a hard reset (to address a Picture Mail issue) and this problem surfaced. Disabling Suspend Power does seem to solve the problem. Strange...

Re: Bluetooth Problems

go in to the s2u2 settings and there's a tab that say's don't suspend power but default its enable you turn that off. That is what's being referred to here.
