Remove Sprint Music

Can I get rid of the Music store and all that nonsense? Will the music player still look the same or will the link be removed and allow for bigger album art? I don't plan on ever buying anything from Sprint nor do I want anything to do with their music service. I get my music illegally like everyone else on Limewire.

There should be a registry edit? Anyone?

I second that brother... hopefully someone comes out with a custom rom that get's rid of that.

if you want to remove all the sprint crap flash Juicy's Sprint 2.1 rom its available now posted tonight :P

i was wondering the same thing. the sprint store logo take sooo much space and the covert is so small and too much on the side. if we remove the sprint store thing will the cover art be bigger?

very possible. there's a thread on xda on how to do it.

also, you can change the title from [[IDS_MUSICTITLE]] (might have that wrong, but you should get the idea) to just 'Music' if it being called sprint music bugs you.

I'd explain more, but I'm typing this on the diamond and the keyboard is driving me nuts.

Thanks! i was able to finally remove iot.
now the other thing u are suggesting i cant do it. could you give more detail of how to change the title of the tab to Music instead of sprint music?

I have the custom icons. Will I loose those if I install this? what exactly IS the TF3Ds slider menu?

I just tried this Registry Edit. It doesn't remove Sprint Music altogether but it does remove the link from the Sprint Music Player in TF3d. And YES it does make the album art bigger to compensate for the extra room. Not a total fix but it sure does look cooler!

Now what was the Reg Ed for renaming the tab to just "Music"?
