Arcsoft MMS Sending Size limit

How do you increase the sending size limit for mms messages? Mine was set at 1000k with the older version of arcsoft, and now the max setting size is set to 350k and when I try to attach a photo it says it exceeds the size limit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Arcsoft MMS Sending Size limit

try somewhere around in here

HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\Arcsoft MMS UA\Config\MM1

it is somewhere in the registry but I cannot find it right off hand.

Re: Arcsoft MMS Sending Size limit

I found the setting under Pics/Video Config - servers tab and click on the Provider and it pops up the settings for servers and there you can change the Sending size limitation.

Ok so it may not show anything greater... looked into it again and it's the dropdown box... sorry

Re: Arcsoft MMS Sending Size limit

I've found the registry setting and increased it to 716800 (which is 700k ... 700 x 1024 = 716800) but when I attach an audio file that is 603k, it starts to send but then gives me an error "Message content is too large". Is there another reg setting besides the "WAP2sendlimit" that needs to be changed?

Re: Arcsoft MMS Sending Size limit

I set my send limit to 935k this way

1. HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE
2. software
3. arcsoft
4. arcsoft mms ua
5. config
7. ui
8. sizelimit
Wap2SendLimit3 = "958400"

This changed the third option in the server menu size limit drop down to
900k

AND...

1. HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE
2. software
3. arcsoft
4. arcsoft mms ua
5. config
7. mm1
8. MMSCSettings
9. SampleMMSC

WAP2SendDefaultSize = "985400"

this preset it to 935k as the default setting for my
second server on "WAP2" which I named SampleMMSC

This was using "dcd VZW Arcsoft MMS 5.0.31.19.cab"

Because it works.

Re: Arcsoft MMS Sending Size limit

You have to do it on the phone but you will need a registry editor first if you do not have one already. I use Resco but some use Total Commander and there are others out there also.

Anyway to edit the registry even further? I'm trying to reach a send limit or atleast 3mb or maybe even 5mb on my unlocked touch HD I'm using with tmobile
