After you've installed it, you will need to edit your MMS server settings for sprint to allow them to be edited (quick registry edit will do)

Change the Connect via to the call tones connection, which has the proxy settings for you, and all is well. In a bit i'm sure someone will some time will make a cab that makes this all painless.

I've been able to send pictures without a problem since I made the change. Good luck folks.
Wont work with the standard Calltones proxy only. I am interested to know what the registry edits are that are needed to make this work. Bobblah, If you really have this working... dont leave the rest of the world hanging!

Sliwitek, I have also tried this method and it was also a "no go" and have sent "PM's" many days ago and nothing yet.

I know the Calltones proxy is right since the calltones page is working the way it is suppose to and still nothing when using the the proxy for mms. 8(

Didn't work here either. Sprint evidently still wins in the blocking department.

Re: Updated: 02/05 - NO LONGER WORKING on Sprint - Real Picture Mail (PicMail, MMS)

There are a lot of replies so i apologize if someone may have asked this at all. I have verizon and got a warranty replacement and this phone does not have the mms AT ALL, so i downloaded the simple install cab, it worked on adding the option and receiving msgs, but i can't send any.

Unfortunately they don't win in the Q4 2007 earnings department...they just posted a $28B loss...but what's gonna hurt them even more is when they lose my business as soon as I decide which GSM smartphone I'm buying. I don't care if I end up paying more...after being a customer for going on 10 years now they have a hell of a way of showing their apppreciation (turning off MMS, not tailoring at least a segment of its offerings for WM phones, still advertising things like Sprint TV and PictureMail for WM phones, etc.). Someone from Sprint called a few days ago offering a measley 10% off if I signed on for another 2 years and sorry for her she got an earful (but of course with the caveat that I'm not upset with her, but rather Sprint).

With Qwest in negotiations with Verizon and Sprint not really having anything on the horizon worth sticking around for (at least as far as I know, and I'm more plugged into the industry than most, and certainly way more than the average consumer) I really wonder what's going to become of the pindropper.

Re: Updated: 02/05 - NO LONGER WORKING on Sprint - Real Picture Mail (PicMail, MMS)

Of course they lost $$$. This thread is about ONE symptom of Sprint's disease. The poor cusopmer support they have shown both on the face to face in the Sprint stores and in the *2 customer care is costing Sprint by losing customers to the other carriers. The recent changeover in upper management may help, but it may be too little too late....

This program/hack no longer works on Sprint devices, read the following announcement for more info...
