Sync Contacts Help!!!

I recently bought a ppc-6700 and cooked a beautiful rom and I am now using 6.1 and love it. I transferred all my contacts from my old blackberry to Outlook 2007 but I am having problems. I am using vista and windows mobile device center and when I start to sync contacts it just hangs. My PC picks up that my phone is connected and so does my phone but no data is transferred. Also if someone has a suggestion of using bluetooth to sync instead of USB I am open to that. Any help would be appreciated!!

Re: Sync Contacts Help!!!

Do you have an SD card in your phone? If so, try removing it then syncing. Everytime I try to sync w/ Vista and my sd card is in, the sync locks up. There are also some Mobile Device Center and Vista updates from Microsoft that I would recomend installing.

Re: Sync Contacts Help!!!

Yes I do have an SD card in my phone! I will try removing it tonight and seeing if that helps. I have my updates set to automatic is there a way to manually download mobile device center updates? Also is bluetooth syncing any better?

Re: Sync Contacts Help!!!

You can get the Mobile Device Center 6.1 here > http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en That should have all of the previous Vista updates to make it work.

I haven't used a bluetooth pc connection, so I can't really answer that question.
