Jack - Are you using a city in the list or a custom one? I can't get it to load my custom city any longer with the registry change, but it will still load any in the list. I've tried editing the XML file a bunch of different ways, but it doesn't seem to help. The updates listed on the site don't seem to work on my apache, the only one I haven't tried yet is the OEM - I'll reflash tomorrow and see if the OEm he posted works....

Any advice?

Correct, custom cities don't work (and have never worked) with HTC's server. That's why that reg entry was put in. The IP that reg entry re-directed to has gone away now so removing it sets the app back to look at HTC's server.

I've got a new fixed OEM ready for this--just need to test it. I'll upload it a bit later today if people want to give it a shot.

I'd love to get that. I just got the htc weather and have had to use huntington beach, us since it doesn't have MY Long beach just the NY one.

It's an application that is assembled in such a way so it can be built into a ROM created using a kitchen. It's of no concern at all unless you are making your own ROMs for your phone.

Anyway as promised here's the OEM--just drop it in User_OEM and run BuildOS--it should appear in the Today Plugins group with the other two versions. I'm the only person who has tested it so consider it a beta (though it all worked fine for me) and report back your results please.

This is the newest version of HTC Home available (2.1.1005.722) so those of you experiencing freezing or other issues with HTC Home may want to give it a shot as well.
