WeatherPanel and Helmi WM6 .6c, working for anyone?

I know there have been numerous threads about this, but is anyone running a kitchen build with weatherpanel that is working?

I have built a kitchen WITH weatherpanel and WITHOUT windows live and HTC Home plugin and I can't get the thing past the green winmo startup screen.

I am reflashing now without weatherpanel to test but I wanted to see if anyone out there had this working.

I really like having my weatherpanel... what's the best way to troubleshoot this and get it working?

Yeah, I'm using kitchen 0.6 and haven't had any problems using the built-in weather piece to get my general weather report for my city.

Just to clarify, I am talking about the OEM for Marsware WeatherPanel, not the weather tab on the HTC Home plugin

I can definitely confirm that WeatherPanel is causing my problem. I flashed a new ROM without it and haven't had any green screen lockups after ~20 soft resets.

Other than Windows Live and HTC Home, is WeatherPanel known to conflict with anything else? I have a fairly standard build.

For you guys that have it working in .6c, do you have it set to update periodically? or is it set to manual?

I'm going to give it one more go and add it back in... I just can't understand how it only locks up my device. There's got to be a fix to this?

Any ideas??

It's not just you - I've resorted to using SPBWeather - though I don't like it much. I'm a long-time WP user (from when Martian was around!) and this is the first time I've ever had a problem with the program. - sheureka
