Question MSL Question

I have a friend that asked me something I didn't know, so I hope someone has the answer.

Are MSL numbers unique to your account or device? for example if I change to a different model phone or PPC, will it be the same MSL # or different?

Thanks

Re: MSL Question

The MSL is generated by the unique ESN given to each mobile device. So, yes, if you change devices, your MSL will be different.
