Smile Family Guy

I just purchased the Family Guy Star Wars spoof "Blue Harvest" and it came with an extra disk that has a "digital copy"(their words not mine, I obviously know that all DVD are digital media) on it...anyways, it says that you can use this copy to put the movie on an ipod, iphone or a Windows Media Player device. My problem is that when I followed all of the steps and tried to put a copy of the movie on to my Mogul, it said it is not able to because it's not a Windows media device or something along those lines. The phone has Windows media built into it, so why would it be saying that? Has anyone had this problem? Has anyone been able to successfully put it on to their phone?

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

P.S. If you're a Star Wars or a Family Guy fan I highly recommend this DVD.
To quote Peter Griffin....it's FREAKIN' SWEET!!!

Not on a PDA phone with Windows Mobile, it doesn't. WM can play .avi and .wma natively, I think. And additional codecs let you play other formats. Can you just copy the file off the DVD onto your PC and then ActiveSync it over?

You might need to convert the file since I think there is some DRM built into the file. The other way would be to rip the DVD to your hard drive and then copy it over to the storage card.

Since you own a license to the media, you can actually remove the drm using apps such as those found here: http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/

I'd use another app like Digital Media Converter by Deskshare to reduce the quality for PPC format. They have a PPC profile in their program, and the quality and size is great.
