I am just south of Houston and I have the EV icon on my 6800. Its been on there for a while. What does it mean?

Ev means that your Connected to EVDO, Faster net connection

im in odessa and midland and it been poping up alot and im not even romaing im se to sprint home only and its more faster and stable then alttels alot i got 2.2 mp on mobile test and steady then it takes off and they have confirm that there testing here in my city

what speed do you get on 1xrtt in Lubbock. I get 9-12 kbits/sec on Sero and Mogul?
I use dslreports.com/mspeed to test.
If you have friends who are in Lubbock also, do you know what speeds they get?
