How do you log out of gmail on Android?
I cant log out of gmail on Android!
I have clear the data. The 2nd time I press the Gmail icon, it log into my Gmail and download the data w/o me input my username and password. Very NICE! I dont want to lock my phone. I have google everywhere for help. Create a dummy gmail account? Beyond the point? I might need to reset my phone? This is happening on my wife's Optimus T. I am getting the 3D phone this week. Is Android ready as a business phone?

Go to the settings menu, down to accounts and uncheck sync applications (Gmail), but leave background data enabled.

Are you sure this will work?
Cause I was frustrated and did a hard reset bc of this. Now I am just going to use the web version of gmail. I am going to use the web version of facebook too. Is Android good with uninstall? Leave no .dll behind?
