How do I delete my typed searches in Market so it shows up blank?

All I could find on this was an app called ' history eraser ' that supposedly clears your searches. I don't know if it clears ALL searches on the phone or just that of the market but hope this helps...

I'll take a look, I figured there was a setting I wasn't finding.

This seems to be an issue that Google has yet to address, on the developers coding section there is a nagging thread that this should be address. Maybe Froyo or Gingerbread?

I saw this in the thread you linked, since I am rooted I will try this out, but there does need to be an easier way.

If you have root access, it appears that you can

Open root manager*delete /data/data/com.android.vending/databases/suggestions.
