Here is some more info on the security vulnerability

and here is a thread over at XDA with user cajunflavoredbob claiming to have a fix (see posts #12-13). There appear to be mixed oppinions on it actually working but in post #23 user JVH3 notes that the patch worked after a rom flash without any problems so I have to wonder if it were baked into the rom would that eliminate the problems noted in that thread?

I hadn't heard about this bug. Have you got any links to it?

Is this an issue only when tweeting? or also when checking your feeds? (I don't tweet from the phone usually)

Cooked it in, but it seems to give me a log in error.

EDIT: Nevermind, got it working. New RC will contain this update in it.

I usually cook this into my own personal ROM, but was wondering: Is anyone interested in being able to view chinese, japanese, korean, thai, arabic(with limited support for other languages with arabic characters), and hebrew? It comes at the cost of 5MB(storage) from the ROM. A cab isn't really something I want to create for this, but I can include it in the ROM if enough people want it.

Well, the cab is available on that link that was posted, at xda. I just cooked it in and made it work.

As for the ETA on the ROM, I plan to release maybe next weekend. (Exams this week.)

I'm using your rom with spb mobile, and it has 110mb free on first boot, and about 101-103 after using for a bit. I'm all about the extra ram, and won't need the extra languages, so I vote to leave it out.

Thanks again for a great fast rom, especially with spb mobile shell running.

I would say keep the multi-language stuff out, or have a seperate ROM link that has multi-lingual support
