Info on boot screen

Might be covered somewhere else (searched can't find it). Would like to know what is the info on the boot screen. Listed as P ??, R (radio ver, got that) and D ?? Reason I ask is, I've seen the D change from like 1.04? to 2.00....
Any help?

Re: Info on boot screen

I tried asking for some background info on this too, but didn't get much response.

All I have figured out so far is:
D - ROM version
P - Protocol (version?)
R - Radio

Got this by cross referencing the boot screen with the device info applet.

Protocol only changed dramatically when I had the balls to test flashing the new Sprint ROM on my Telus phone (which works and is my current daily ROM, btw - it's awesome).

Radio was also upgraded in the process.

The ROM version number appears to be related to whatever is contained in the os.nb file in the ROM folder of your kitchen... Unfortunately I have not yet figured out what it contains and how to de- or re- construct it.

Dunno if that helps...
