a question for the users

A few questions for the pro's....

I am a typical consumer, using this phone for the fun things it can do, but most importantly battery life, text, and phone usage. I am using RSTG's rom cuz i like the games, but not the freeze while texting and a few other things. Is there a ROM for me? I'm sad cuz I'm one of those people who is looking for the easy answer, the guy that doesn't want to flash every rom, and the annoying dude that asks this question once a day... but... I still want to know...

WHAT IS THE BEST OVERALL FUNCTIONING ROM FOR THE BASIC FEATURES?!?!

don't say mean things and just tell me what the f*ck to use

thank you everyone!

Re: a question for the users

There was Juicy's...although it died pretty fast again. You could try groove rom or Mightyrom they are both pretty good. Although from my experience I thought Mighty's rom lagged a my phone a bit. NO OFFENSE MIGHTY YOUR ROMS ARE STILL AWESOME!! grooves rom has a version of 6.1 and 6.5 both w/ and w/o tf3d and they are pretty good.
There are also a series of new Rhodium manilla rom that just came up...didn't get to try them all yet though.

For all the people's roms I didn't mention...I didn't get to try yours yet so don't hate on me...

EDIT: Build your own using Calkulin's kitchen!

Re: a question for the users

I echo Biggaboo, you could build your own ... it's quite easy. Or on the other hand, if you don't want to tackle that, then latch on to one of Calcu's roms. 4.6 is ready to go, you'll be more than pleased with how his work performs. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Enjoy ...

These threads are like every other day... not really sure what the best way to get the standard answers out would be. Nobody really seems to read to stickies... beats me.

Re: a question for the users

2 of the best IMO is GrooveROM 6.1 and MightyROM 4.8.. MightyROM is a lil more stable, but GrooveROM is FAST and I love the HD Manila!

Re: a question for the users

thanks guys. i know drybonz, i've read all of the stickies. the typical answer always seems to be 'the right one for you might not be the right one for someone else.' though true, there still has to be an 'industry standard user created ROM'. but thats hard too cuz of all the different cdma carriers and whatnot. i'm going to try groove 6.1, i tried wm6.5 and it seems slow to me... try some mighty again too. normally what i do is click on the ROM thread, skip to the last page to read about the new issues... if there are issues then i'm like "ugh..." i just want something stable and simple with fun games

Re: a question for the users

I know it sounds like a personal ad, but if you want just the basic things, check out my ROM. It's really light, incredibly fast, and has Rhodium as an added bonus.
