I tried to search and I could find nothing. I asked this in the Juicy 3.7 thread but I think it got burried.

How do I autoclose apps to actually close it on exit

I found the following entry

HCU\Software\HTC\TaskManager - EnableAutoKill and flipped it to 0. I soft reset the device but, the programs are still not autoclosing on exit.

What do I need to edit to make this happen?

The next thing is the ability to slide down (or up in the email messages to select multiple at one time for deletion) -

How can I enable that also?

The reg key is

EnableTapAndHold change it to 0

Good to go!


Now to find the slide/messages to select all

to slide and select multiple messages.. if you are using Juicy's rom, it should already work.. there is a little trick to do it tho... it is kind of hard to do with your finger, but the stylus or a fingernail makes it easier.. the trick is to hold for a second, and then start sliding.. like almost wait for the menu to come up after holding on an email, but before it does then begin to slide down.. it should work, but let me know if you still can't get it to work..

Yeah I am on 3.7 Juicy - Worked on 3.6 - didnt work on 3.4 - Worked on 3.2

I was able to just do it with holding the message for a second - then sliding down.

Use to be I didnt have to do that, just slide down quickly without holdinng for a second.

Maybe its just me - Wonder if there is a reg setting to were I can change it so you dont have to hold it for a second then slide down.

Worked "the way I like it" on 3.6 - But, its all good to hold for a second then slide down. I will keep drilling through the reg to see if I can find something I can edit.

You know what user guide I would love to have darren.wlsn1? I would love to have a user guide for each catagory in BuildOS and what program is inside each one - BTW TIA (I am looking for reg edits not a users manual)
