Remove TF3d

Hey everyone... I don't know about you guys, but I don't really like TF3d.. yeah it was cool when it first came out, but I like the simple windows mobile today screen and i would like to know how to remove TF3d all together... I know Jakdillard came out with a rom awhile ago with it taken out, but I was wondering if there was anyway to do it without having to reflash? I noticed that all of the current roms have it included and don't have a seperate .nbh without it included, which is what i think would be the best way to go... I know you can just disable it, but it still runs on startup and takes up memory even if you aren't using it. Does anyone know how TF3d can be completely removed? I think i am speaking for a good amount of us here... thanks in advance!

If you uncheck it from the today screen it still runs? I was under the impression that it doesn't even start up if you remove it from the today screen.

Re: Remove TF3d

It's pretty easy to cook yourself a new ROM without it included. that's what I did so I could run the HD Manila

Re: Remove TF3d

My latest rom comes in two versions, one with TF3D (Manila) and one without. They are Sprint specific though..

EDIT: pocoROM is totally Manila free.

If you uncheck it from the today screen soft reset and it dont even load. I run the second today screen plug in and have the best of both worlds.

Yeah I figured this was the case. From the OP's first post they were under the impression it still loaded. This would be their best solution to remove it without reloading the rom.
