Unhappy Problem with windows mobile device center

everytime i flash a new rom my phone is no longer recognized in the device center. i have unchecked the box in the communications tab, hard reset and reinstalled the software a bunch. any other suggestions

WHEN CONFIGURING DEVICE DRIVERS IT GOES FROM GENERIC RNDS TO MICROSOFT WINDOWS MOBILE REMOTE ADAPTOR.

can anyone zip the drivers for htc diamond needed for windows vista

can someone at least tell me what the device manager is supposed to say.

I had the same problem... this is how i fixed it. I went into the registry Hkey_current_user\software\Microsoft\windows ce services\partners
then I found under the partners folder my device..... its probably the only thing listed under the partners folder... and deleted the whole folder
(mine was called effe81d5 under the partners folder) . I restarted my computer. When it came back up, I went back into Windows Mobile device center, and it followed the instructions and set my device back up. Everything was fine after that. Hope this helps
