Add Security Certificates to ROMS

Hi there...
I am from a Treo 800 to this Diamond, and wow, I love ROM building!

Thanks so much for the information!

The question I have, I have 2 security certificates that have to be installed on my phone in order for my Exchange Server to download. Through OEMizer, I have the server configured correctly, but until I get the certificates installed, nothing gets downloaded.

Is there any way to put the .cer's into the ROM "pre-loaded", so as much that I would not have to install them each and every time?

Thanks!

-Chris

Re: Add Security Certificates to ROMS

You may want to check how your IT dept has Outlook Anywhere configured. When I set up the email account for my Exchange Server the certificates download on the first connect and are saved. The message is something like the server has to do a security setup on the phone. But it happens only then. Every other connect results in an immediate download of mail (if I do a manual Sync which I rarely do because I am using Microsoft Push email).
Exchange certificaates can be really tricky if they are not set up exactly right.

Re: Add Security Certificates to ROMS

The certifiactes have to manually installed. I just need a way to get them to install.

Is there any way to add them to the first start up box, you know, the one that installs the HTC Black.tsk and everything else?
