question about wifi (wpa-psk and apple airport station)

hi all,

i'm running wm 6.5 build 21505 5070 with sprint.

i'm currently trying to connect to my family's apple airport system but haven't had any luck. the thing with our setup is that it's invisible and you have to have the admin of the thing add your IP and username to it so that you can access it.

is anyone familiar with what type of information i would need to do this? i was confused at seeing (seemingly) so many different ways to connect to wifi with the wireless lan, network cards, etc.

what i originally did was get my MAC number from start/settings/systtem/connections/wireless lan/advanced and took my device id from system/about and added that into the airport configuration. from there, i added the wireless server via start/settings/connection/network cards but to no avail.

anyone have any ideas or suggestions? thanks!

btw if any newbies like me are reading this, check out:

the titanium customizer for wm 6.5 works great!
