Error 120 w/ppc-6700

Ok, my 6700 was stolen, and I was lucky enough to recover it,but it was semi bricked. I moved on to the 6800, but would like to tinker a bit with the old 6700. Problem is, I am getting an error 120, country id error when attempting to flash a rom/kitchen. I just tried the official Sprint rom, same result.
Any ideas?

Are you using the correct RUU?

Depending on what someone did to get your phone in that mode, you may need to revert the bootloader in order to fix up the partitions.

for correct ruu, select bootloader version in REV dropdown.

for reversion thread, see main apache forum, "help for bootloader 2.04/2.05...." sticky

I have v2.02. I tried reverting to the OEM ROM, same error.
