Touch Screen Not Working

Hey everyone,

My touch screen has stopped working. I went snowboarding today and my pocket was damp. The phone works fine with MyMobiler and with the hard keys, but when I press the touch screen, the screen will flash black and then come back on. If I press hard or I hold it, the screen will go black and it won't come back on unless I press the power button.

Soft reset, and hard reset didn't help. I managed to do the hard reset with MyMobiler, but now after the hard reset it's asking me to align the screen, and I can't.

Physically there appears to be nothing wrong with the phone. But it must be something wrong with the screen since the functions of the phone work fine.

What should I do? Try and flash the stock Bell ROM, lock it, and bring it in? Do you have any methods of fixing touch screens that may have gotten wet?

Well... usually the rule of thumb with water is do NOT touch the device if it gets wet. Pull the battery, throw it in a bowl of rice for a day or two...

Otherwise, if you have insurance I would take it in. Definitely going to need to flash it back to stock, and undo HSPL...

Shouldn't be the battery though, because it works fine without the touch screen, right?

I'm not sure if I have coverage but I guess I'm going to have to take it in anyways.
