Anyway to change the taskbar black?

Is there anyway to change the taskbar in android to black? I notice it on the newer versions, but was wondering if this is possible with Froyo

Seriously? A ton of pics with peoples homescreens that have the notification bar as being black, and no one can chime in to help??

Those builds usually come with the bar black...

You can try mucking with the framework-res.apk... everytime I tried to change the color of the bar it wouldn't boot. I was able to change the color of the font on the notification bar, so I was doing something right...
