Yes. It installed.. Voice and chat work... But doesnt seem to have video... Was really hoping for some amazement after such a long wait....

3G & wi-fi according to the app details in the market, but I was hoping for video chat hence the size of the app (over 8 megs???)

EDIT: Just also read that 3G calling is only for outside the US right now, so yes it is wi-fi only here in the US.

No video calling? Wow, looks like Qik is the way to go then. Too bad. I hear its a huge file too with no app to SD ability. BOO!

No video chat....?

I'm curious what the appeal of this app would be without video chat. Do people who own the types of phones (Evo) that would run skype really worry about minutes and need an app that lets them make calls off of their providers network? I would think we, (smart-phone users) either have unlimited minutes or something close to it so an app like this, without video, becomes irrelevant.

I was greatly looking forward to skype to do phone to pc video chat. I'm very disappointed and will continue to look for alternatives

BTW

"Movicha" is the only alternative I've come across to do video chat from Evo to pc or even Evo to iphone. Any experiences with this app?
