i downloaded the sdkcerts from xda, then tsowen taskbar 6 for 6.5 on my tp2. for some reason when i use data, the network icon gets changed to the activesync icon and stays like that until a soft reset. i'm using juicy rom... worked fine on energy rom, so not sure why it's doing this. any suggestions?

NM, I found it:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Taskbar

every time, I install one of the task bars, I lose or mess up the bottom task bar, the only one I can get to install correctly is the "REV A" without messing up the rest of the phone's task bars??

I've tried the twowenstaskbar3v1.5 on NFS's 6.5.3 ROM (i.e. 28xxx)... it messes up the left softkey button in the bottom taskbar in TF3D and completely wacks that taskbar in titanium, also when I press the top taskbar the popup menu no longer comes up. The uninstall put everything back in order.

Getting ready to try some others...

Edit: Tried most of the taskbar cabs in this thread... no luck with any of them. The only taskbar I've found that works on the latest 6.5.x builds is the CDMA_BilboBrian_TaskBar_23081m.cab posted over on XDA.

I also get the same issue the only one that works is the REV A, it doesn't screw up any of the keys.

Not true. As has been mentioned several times in this thread alone, most of them do NOT work for "6.5.x" due to changes in the .dll files. Microsoft changes the locations of and adds icons in nearly every build.
