The big difference is the cdma_rssi_ppc.dll. That is the dll that holds all of the signal icons for our phones. Aside from that, everything is the same as long as the Ev and 1x icons have been skinned in the other dlls.

The taskbar that I am using doesn't even have the CDMA_RSI_PPC.DLL and I only changed the EV icon. I don't have any trouble with it.

Hey all - I'm using the Imagio (Whitestone) and I've been looking for a transparent top curtain. The one above looks great (even mostly transparent would be cool) but that's the main screen and the top curtain is always mostly transparent on the main screen. I'm looking for a solution that addresses all the tabs in TF3D 2.0. Anyone found one? TIA.

Search for HDWall on XDA-Developers and it has the option when making backgrounds for all tabs for WM6.5 Taskbar and Softkeybar Skinning. Check that box and it skins those 2 areas with your wallpaper so they are transparent.

12AON has really help pioneer the way for the WM 6.5 taskbar so huge props to him and also thanks to MysticGenious and others who offered to test and evaluate my files. Here is the updated WM 6.5 version with the dll's straight from WM 6.5 (only for those running 6.5) with this version GSM users now have colored bars. As always same rules apply as any other taskbars when installing the cab. Any bugs or problems please report back. This is based upon my taskbar 6 elite v3 located here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...54&postcount=4

Code:

BT Discoverable.bmp
BT On Mode.bmp

shellres.192.dll

For those who need the RevA file is below

Hey tsowen I installed your "taskbar 6 elite WM6.5 version.cab" and it looks great. Especially since when I installed the colored HTC slider bar icons the 'stock' WM6.5 taskbar looked bland. However, my battery meter is frozen in the green state, no matter how low the battery goes. Any ideas what I may have done wrong? Thanks!

Notification Manager

Hi gadgetfreak

I am trying to install the Bear-Bonz task bar and Notification Manager modificatoin on my HTC Touch Pro 2 GSM. I have a custom ROM installed (At0mAng Fusion 5.6) which is WM 6.5 with the Topaz Notification Manager cooked in.

When I install the GF Bear-Bonz Taskbar - WM 6.5 GSM.cab from Post #6 the icons change but the Notification Manager stops working. When I try to enable the service using dotfred's Task Manager, it gives me an error saying that it can not start the service because the file is not found.

Installing Topaz Notification Manager Mod Round Icons.cab in Post #6 does not make the notification manager work again.

I have tried to uninstall the taskbar through the WM Remove Programs applet as well as through SK Tools but it seems to have half uninstalled leaving some modified taskbar icons, volume control and wait cursor (custom in ROM).

Can you please suggest what can be done to get the Notifications Manager to work?

Cheers

One thing we have asked multiple users not to do is quote large pictures. It eats into our bandwidth and takes up a lot of space. Please refrain from doing so in the future.

I'm willing to bet that part of the problem is different versions of the Notification Manager. If you can up load your notificationres.dll, I can take a look at it over the next few days.

Hi gadgetfreak

Thanks for the response. I suspect you're right. I'm having a very busy week but I'll try to get the files uploadad over the weekend.

Thanks again
