WM 6.5 Default Dialer!!!

No this is not really the default dialer LOL!!! It's one I made hoping it would look that way. Its based off of DXC's Iphone dialer witch as far as I know everything
like 911. In the zip att. is a cab, OEM (for cooks), and dialer images without BG so if you guys want to change the background to match your theme you can. It's not all that easy to do some prior expeirence is needed to add your own BG and make it look good. Enjoy!

The images in the no BG folder is what they are called, when your done putting your images together in photoshop or what ever save the image as a .bmp file extention. Then drag your images into your windows directory and your done.

Did the incoming call notification do this to you?

No it did not, and I normally always use this dialer for a base anytime I skin a dialer. The Iphone dialer you have is it made by DXC?

No. Its a port to vga (by daniel_swg27) so I bet the prob lies somewhere in that.

Edit: I was totally wrong so I corrected what was stated.

but i think the problem is "mxipupdate_minimalsmart_100.provxml"

i must change the values but i don't know the vga values

If I understand correctly you have to edit etphone.dll using reshacker or PE Explorer. But you'll still have the same issue - what would the correct values be for vga...

I got this figured out - he converted every image to either a jpg or gif to conserve size, and then updated all of it the registry entries to point to the correct images. There is no registry entry (that I could find) for the alert background tho so it has to stay a bmp. I converted it back and its fixed.

Not yet when I get my TP I will be making one but there is one floating around that a member made (not as nice as mine :mrgreen:) I just can't locate a link for it.

Why when I install it shows up a small, small dialer. Once unzipped I installed the cab "pimpourpocketpc" and it s not installing correctly....

**EDIT. what tweaks must I do to see the display better on my TP??? I have re-installed 3 times and nothing...

Sorry man this only works on QVGA devices, the TP is VGA.

Awesome work JDUME, that is what the default wm 6.5 dialer should look like. It perfectly matches the lock screen phone interface. I anxiously await the VGA version.

THANKS!!! My default dialer skin is broken (showing only white background during a call) but the phone works, just cant see the call info etc.. (i have a cooked ROM), this is definitely a great replacement. Great job! :)

Good news for VGA guys I am taking a little break from other projects and have begun to work on a VGA dialer, though it will not be the same lay out as QVGA but it will be based on the new Tachi dialer.
