I think it is just a link for a shortcut to the nba.mobile site.
here's a screenshot.
I never bothered to look at the address bar on my browser.
Oh well.
Let's call it a workaround to the app.

Thanks! You are right, it's just a shortcut to the mobile site.

I like PocketSprortsCenter, but with Manila & Titanium its not as useful. I hope Scotty can make a tab and widget for the app, and keep it going,
