TCPMP + FlashVideoBundle

Does anyone know if there is a update to TCPMP + FlashVideoBundle so that it can work with the new YouTube flash format, which is mp4. I used to love it because you can view the desktop version of YouTube on your phone and also download the videos on your phone. Any one know whats going on?

I think Youtube has it's own player that saves videos.

Yea but its GARBAGE. The option that TCPMP+FlashVideoBundle had is terrific! You got to see the YouTube site as if you were on a computer and plus download the videos.

I say we all put our heads together and figure this out. First off, the new format is in mp4 format. Ok. Learning something new everyday. Ok, so would it be flashvideobundle.cab or the TCPMP player itself that would need updating?

Flashvideobundle is very old and obsolete. Forget it.
Newer TCPMP versions are available.

Not at all. Read my first post. Why have a crappy mobile version when you can have the actual desktop version of youtube on your phone. And be able to download the videos so you don't need internet action for you to play it later because you have it downloaded. Now back to the topic, I hope some programmers on her can fix it to make it compatible with new mp4 plugin.

Why don't you use the HTC Youtube Player that comes on your phone?

Heres a quote from his posting:

"NOTE: Google/YouTube has just changed the CODE format at http://www.youtube.com/?nomobile=1 therefore you may encounter 404 errors... You will not have any problems playing YouTube Videos via the new JM81 WVD 1.50 Version."

So, no....this one doesnt work yet for youtube, unless your routing it through WVD. Heres my problem, how do you route PIE to WVD so that WVD can then route it to TCPMP?

????

Is that newer TCPMP only for the touch pro or will it work on other devices? QVGA hopefully? :D
