Program to mute text/email notifications at certain times

I have to keep my phone on all night because I am always on call (gotta love self employment!). I have started to get a ton of emails at night (50+) and the noise is starting to drive my wife nuts.

I do not want the phone to quit checking for emails (because I wake up several times in the middle of the night and I like to look over at my phone and see what is going on) but I would like the notifications to go silent at night.

Is there anything out there that would do this?
