Official Sprint Picture Mail for Smart Phones

I was sitting on my couch tonight playing with my phone and I said "lemme see what's for free in the softwarestore.sprintpcs.com site.

Well low and behold, it says "picture mail" and I click on it and it says "Sprint now provides picture mail for your device. Just install this cab and you can send picture mail by going to "new-picture mail" from the messaging area.

I tried to download the cab file and it showed me the insides of it, so I go on my computer and access the site and say I have a Q9C, the cab is missing.

Then I notice there's an option for a Q9. I select that and low and behold the cab is there.

I install it, reboot, and proceed to load up the program. It works just like it says it would.

I feel really bad for the people at sMMS though because I know this will hurt their buisness.

I'm attaching the cab file. If this is old news I apologize, but I thought that sMMS was the only way to do Picture Mail on the Smartphones.

For some reason it'll say it's from an unknown source but I ignored that.

Update: I just sent myself a picture message and it worked.

Re: Official Sprint Picture Mail for Smart Phones

yea Sprint added it some time back. I put it on my mogul it works great at start up but everytime I want to use it I click on it and it tells me my memory is too low. So if it tells you that you want to soft reset your phone and then use it. Yea I know it sucks to do that but that's sprint for you. I asked sprint about the problem and their answer is to remove the program then re-download it and install which I did. It still tells me my memory is too low.....

Arcsoft did not run at all on my Moto q9c. I think it has problems with Smartphone version of Windows Mobile.

Ah. I was going off of the info under your username, which says that you have a Touch Pro.

I've used Arcsoft's MMS on my Touch Pro without issue for a long time.

It's not pre-installed anymore if you flash a custom ROM.
