Port Zune to Windows mobile

Anyone know of an existing effort to port the zune software to windows mobile? I just saw a patient with a Zune and it is sweet. Much better than media player.

Re: Port Zune to Windows mobile

Thanks, I read that, but I was hoping one of the amazing people on this forum had figured out a way to get it to us early.

Re: Port Zune to Windows mobile

I personally can't wait for the port one day. I don't see why Microsoft didnt even think about it for Windows 6.5 since the zune has been out for quite sometime. I'm sure WM7 won't be out for awhile as well.

Re: Port Zune to Windows mobile

Re: Port Zune to Windows mobile

Yeah, they could learn a lot from the work and ideas in these boards and xda. As for WM7 release, it should RTM 1st half of next year, and we should begin to see the first devices around fall. It's a long way away, which is pretty sad. That said, I find it highly unlikely anyone will be porting it to 6.5 anytime soon. I imagine most devs here and at XDA will wait for WM7 to leak and rip the versions from there to port to 6.5. If it's at all possible.
