I want to be a programmer!!!!

I want to learn how to write programs for WM!!! but don't know the basics.

Can someone point me in the direction of a tutorial or info that lays out the basic structure or a "how to" that explains what I need to know to get from an idea to an executable program?

I've been interested in doing this for the past three years ever since I got my first WM phone..... but I'm still confused.... I'm totally willing to take college level programing classes but don't know what to take. I've taken Visual Basic and have some knowlege on basic language programming.....

I hope I don't get too flamed for this general request.

Thanks

try to learn mortscript its a easy language and the things you learn in there can b used in other languges plus its easy to write simple things that r easy to test and when you are above that try visual basic or c++ i think vb is easier tho

Re: I want to be a programmer!!!!

Thanks for your responces! I'll look into both.

Looking at the MSDN web site it seems that Visual Studio is another approach but costs $299. Does anyone have experiance with VS? It sounds like there are multiple other ways to write programs. What is the most effiecient or user freindly from experiance?

Does anyone have examples that they could share of products from using other programming methods?
