I know you said free editors but i use resco explorer. its not free but they have a trial period of 2 months or so with no annoying pop ups. The thing is everytime you do a hard reset the trial starts over. I for sure will cook a new rom or have to do a hard reset before 2 months is over, so i never need to worry about my trial ending. To be honest i probably flash a new rom every week or so on my tp1 so with the tp2 it will be the same thing.

According to their website it's only 7-days. I always register it right away so I've never tested to see if it actually enforces it or not.

I checked the website and you're right. its strange i downloaded this cab about 1 year ago from their website and its the only reg editor i've ever used and its never forced me to register. hopefully this doesn't jinx me but i've had my sprint tp2 since day 1 and have been making reg edits ever since.

Doing this from the desktop seems a lot easier, so I checked them out.

Do you know if this will work on Vista systems, via Windows Mobile Device Center (the Vista replacement for Active Sync)? The CeRegEditor website doesn't specify.

Does work for me on Vista Enterprise (didn't try it on Ultimate at home)...
